Roadmap November 2026
Here's a glance at what's coming this November, with some updates to our upcoming releases.
π¦ Stranger Things Lights Out is now live until November 12.

10.2.2a Backend Bugfix Patch
Last week, we introduced the Backend Tunables system as a way to get small balance changes in your hands quicker without having to wait for patch releases. We mentioned having changes planned for a number of Killers and today, we're putting this system to use with some adjustment to The Executioner and The Good Guy.
The Executioner:
Dev note: Overall, our goal is to make The Executioner feel snappier when using his power, while also giving him more range to help promote those awesome plays.
The Good Guy:
Dev note: We felt that The Good Guy could use a little bit of a boost to his lethality while in power, so we've made some adjustments to put him in a better place for the long term.
As a reminder, this update does not require a download of any new content, however players will need to restart their game for the changes to take effect.

The 10.3.0 PTB has arrived!
While you install the build (it's live on Steam now!), why not check out this overview of the content you'll be able to test, on top of a new map and bug fixes.

Will the Achievements still be available on all platforms?
The achievements will be made into generic achievements (not character specific). However, they will be unlocked automatically if you have already completed the achievement. Your current progress will also remain.
If I own the DLC/Characters, will I still be able to stream with the content that I have purchased?
The content will remain in-game as long as the content was unlocked prior to 24th November and remain available for players, streamers, influencers, etc. There are no restrictions on streaming any content associated with the Chucky Chapter. We encourage players who have not yet unlocked Chucky to do so prior to this date, so that they can ensure that they will be able to use the content in the future.
If there are any bugs with the character after itβs been removed from sale, will you be able to fix it? We are still supporting Chucky in game and will be able to make any bug fixes if required.
Can we obtain outfits after November 24th and will more Cosmetics become available in future?
The last opportunity to obtain any outfits for Chucky will be 11am 24th November 2026. There will be no future Outfits, so we encourage players to head into the in-game store to unlock the current Cosmetics while they are still available.
Can I receive a refund as the DLC is being removed from the store? Chucky will remain fully playable in-game for those who have obtained him. Players who have unlocked the character will experience zero changes in gameplay or overall experience; therefore no refunds will be issued.
Will I still retain access to the content I have unlocked if I cross-progress my account using the BHVR account? (Retaining access on a different platform) Any content previously unlocked will remain unlocked even if you choose to Cross Progress your accounts.
Can I still obtain the Good Guys Box Charm when I unlock Chucky in game?
If you unlock The Good Guy prior to the 24th November then you will retain all content that has been unlocked to date, you will not be able to unlock ANY content after that date.
FAQ | The Chucky Content
We welcomed The Good Guy out of his box and into The Fog nearly three years ago, but it's now time for the Chucky Chapter to leave the shelf.
On November 24, 2026, the Chapter and its associated content will be removed from in-game and first-party stores. Any content unlocked before that date will remain available to use in-game.
To celebrate his time in The Fog, the content of the Chapter will be on sale on all platforms starting today, giving you a chance to unlock the Character and Cosmetics before they leave the store.
When will Chucky content be unavailable to acquire? Chucky content in Dead by Daylight will be unavailable to acquire after 11am ET on November 24th 2026. With Chucky, our focus continues to be ensuring the characterβs legacy within our games for fans who have unlocked him or plan to do so before 11am ET on the 24th November 2026. The DLC will be removed from all Platform Stores on this date.
What will be the last date to unlock Chucky and related content? Fans of Chucky will still be able to unlock the character until 24th November so we encourage those who have yet to acquire Chucky (as well as his cosmetics), to do so before then to ensure themselves ongoing access to the content moving forward!
If I own the DLC and/or characters will I still be able to play with them?
Yes. Any content unlocked before the November 24th deadline will remain playable in game.
What happens to the Perks from the chapter? Chuckyβs three perks will remain unlockable in his bloodweb with the original names and flavour text, if you have already unlocked the character prior to 24th November. For players who have not unlocked Chucky, the perks will appear in the General perk pool to be available to unlock on any other Killer immediately. These General perks will appear under new names:
Will I still be able to level up Chucky and obtain his Add-Ons? Yes, you will still be able to invest your hard earned Bloodpoints into Chucky and his Add-Ons.
Will I still be able to Prestige my character after 24th November and receive the Prestige rewards?
Yes. If you have unlocked Chucky prior to 11am on the 24th November 2026, you can still level him as normal and unlock his three Prestige Cosmetics as well as the three Perk Charms. His other Cosmetics will need to
be obtained from the in-game store prior to this date also!
Will I still receive Quests for the Characters that I own? For all the characters that you have unlocked, you will still receive Quests, so that remains the same as the current behaviour.
WHAT'S COMING IN UPDATE 10.3.0?
PERK ADJUSTMENTS
As a follow-up to last update's perk changes, we're making further adjustments to some perks that were tweaked in 10.2.0! Here's a recap of the changes:
10.2.0 PTB, so we're continuing to tweak it to capture its PTB feeling without being too strong. We're increasing Successful Basic Attack cooldown to 15%, reducing Window Vault Speed to 15%, adding Missed Basic Attack cooldown to penalties, and reducing the penalties to 15%. And of course, we will continue to monitor how this goes!MORI UPDATE We're also making some changes to the Mori system and will be rolling this out over time. The goal? To better define and clarify the rules behind different types of Moris.
Moving forward, there will be three types of Mori: Finisher, Power, and Short. While these will all trigger with the Attack button, they'll function a little different:
We plan to revisit older Killers' Moris down the road, but for now, they will use their current Mori for both Finisher and Short Mori situations.
BACKEND TUNABLES We know how important balance is to you, so we're building a system which lets us make changes to Live content without needing to wait for a patch. The intention is to get small balance changes in your hands more frequently, tapping into your feedback and making adjustments between patches, which previously limited when we could make changes.
Backend tunables will largely focus on Killer adjustments (similar to what you may have noticed in 10.1.2 with The Judgment) and base game number tweaks. Using this system, you can expect some tweaks to The Executioner (Faster charge! More range! Snappier feel!) and The Judgment (Power cooldown! Zealous duration!) soon.
We can't wait to continue building on this system, although to set expectations, it will take some time. In the future, we'd love to include support for addons, perks, items and more.
SNEAK PEEK AT UPDATE 10.4.0
Coming in January, this update will feature a medium-sized Killer update, multiple smaller Killer tweaks, and adjustments to around 15 perks (including Eruption, Sloppy Butcher, Surge, Hyperfocus, Shoulder the Burden, and Resurgence).
That's not all! We also answered a bunch of questions, as submitted by you! Check out the stream recording to see what we discussed, or head over to our brand new Twitter account β @DbDPulse, featuring updates from your humble Community team β where we'll be posting some of the Q&A highlights.

October Community Stream Recap
Whether you were able to tune in live (thanks!) or you're dropping by to get a tl;dr, we're here to give you a recap of some highlights from today's community stream:
MMR UPDATE
As you may remember, back in 10.1.0, we updated how MMR is calculated. While kills and escapes continue to be an aspect of MMR calculations, they are no longer the only thing used to calculate these values. Now, we also factor in a wide range of actions that help progress the game β think, emblems.
Of course, certain aspects of the MMR have stayed the same. Namely, Killers keep their individual MMR ratings, Survivor share their MMR, matchmaking prioritizes wait times over exact MMR matching, and MMR gains/losses are calculated by comparing Killers and Survivors against each other in a match.
Since making this change in 10.1.0, we've been keeping a close eye on this system and recently noticed that Survivors' Altruism wasn't giving as much MMR as it should have.
To make sure altruistic play is correctly rewarded, we made an adjustment to our MMR system earlier this week (thanks to the adjustable elements of the algorithm), increasing this value. We'll continue to keep a close eye on how this impacts players' MMR and matchmaking before making any further changes.
UPDATE 10.2.0 RECAP Last update, we adjusted over 50 perks, focusing on improving generic perks and those that were affected by Diminishing Returns and could use an adjustment.
Watching the results of these changes, we saw some shifts in the usage and kill / escape rates for these perks. Here's a recap of which ones saw the biggest increases and decreases:
KILLER USAGE π Scourge Hook: Monstrous Shrine π Undone π Help Wanted π Dead Man's Switch π Hex: Thrill of the Hunt π Hex: Blood Favor
SURVIVOR USAGE π Five Moves Ahead π Spine Chill π Resilience π Windows of Opportunity π Stake Out π Slippery Meat
KILL RATES π Help Wanted π Ravenous π Shattered Hope π Hex: Thrill of the Hunt π Hex: Blood Favor π Dissolution
ESCAPE RATES π Road Life π Sole Survivor π Spine Chill π Shoulder the Burden π Stake Out π Self-Preservation
